Domaine Wines 2012 – ”Beyond expectations”

Since the very start of Domaine Wines, our goal has been to become a leading importer of quality wines in the Swedish market. Thanks to a well planned strategy and a loyal staff, we have been able to establish ourselves in this position.

Since the start we have seen several, almost yearly, changes at Systembolaget, our biggest and most important customer. We have adapted to the changes and our close contact with the monopoly enables us to be pro-active.

Domaine is also present in Finland, Domaine Wines Finland Oy, with a four million euro turnover and we already have a handful of agencies and forecasted sales in full activity.

The last years Domaine has received the following three awards:

- Selected among the top-50 companies, all categories, in Sweden’s leading business magazine, Veckans Affärer. (2006).

- Awarded the highest credit-ranking in Sweden for the third consecutive year by Sweden’s leading credit institute (UC).

- We have also been the only company in the wine business to be awarded the drinks industry’s highest business classification (MM1) for the fourth consecutive year, by MM Partners.

For us it is an honour and a token of respect to receive these awards and it is also something that proves that Domaine Wines is a long-term partner in the Swedish market.

Finally, global warming is an issue that concerns all of us, not least our Swedish consumers. At Domaine, we have been working hard to do our bit for the environment; we strive logistically and move goods in the most responsible way (minimum 90% of all movements with ships, trains etc.); our warehouse and distribution partner is ISO-14001 certified. On a smaller scale, we recycle all paper and glassware used by the company, this includes both the goods we sell and everything used by the office staff. And all of our company cars are environmentally friendly.
